Christmas Tradition Exhibition: Christmas in Puerto Rico

This exhibition is being presented in December at the Library Florencio Pagán Cruz, Reference Room of the University of the East, located in the Municipality of Carolina, Puerto Rico. The exhibition includes the following treasures:

This book describes (pp. 58 to 70) through the beautiful photographs of Paola Noguera and bilingual texts Teresa Davila, the prints in the tradition of celebrating Three Kings Day in Puerto Rico, which provides opportunity for outside Puerto Rico is familiar with the traditions of these celebrations.

This is a work of interest for scholars of the history of the tradition of Christmas music and of course, for fans of our music jíbara.

The author takes us by the hand to the field to enjoy the musical sense of jíbaro in celebration of Christmas. In "The kings or Santa Cló" (p. 23-26), one of his verses tells us that "...
